 Course Description

The one-day Fundamentals of Natural Gas Processing course will cover a high-level overview of natural gas processing to understand the key processing steps required to make salable products from raw gas (from wellhead to marketplace) with emphasis on gas plant design and operation. The overall process flow diagram will be used to illustrate how the various individual plant operations are integrated to create gas plants capable of handling feeds from gas fields.

You will gain a basic understanding and working knowledge of the major processes for design and operations criteria encountered in the processing and transportation of natural gas; product specifications, phase separation, gas sweetening, dehydration and dew point control, hydrocarbon recovery, Sulphur recovery and acid gas injection in plain language easily understandable for individuals either in technical, managerial or support roles.

Who should attend?

The Fundamentals of Natural Gas Processing course targets anyone needing a basic understanding of gas processing and its common technologies. This course is useful to a diverse group because it provides a broad overview and deals only with the basics of the gas processing technology.

As a wide ranging overview, the Fundamentals of Natural Gas Processing course is suitable for people who are directly working in natural gas industries such as new engineering graduates, process engineers, project engineers, mechanical engineers, automation & control engineers, instrumentation engineers, planners & schedulers and as well as for other interested roles such as geologists, reservoir engineers, line managers, sales and business development staff, specialists such as environmental staff, operational staff or anyone interested in a general.
