Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum (TEF) Kuwait - Technical Inaugural Event 2026
The Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum (TEF) Kuwait – 2026 organized its Technical Inaugural Event on 14 January 2026 at Park Inn by Radisson, Mahboula, Kuwait, bringing together engineers, industry experts, and professionals for technical knowledge sharing and innovation.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Dhari Al-Ajmi, a renowned Cybersecurity Specialist and entrepreneur, who delivered an insightful Keynote Address on “Future Trends in Operational Technology (OT) – Cybersecurity.” His perspectives on managing cyber risks and strengthening digital resilience added significant value to the program.
The program commenced with a Welcome Address by Mr. Stanley, General Secretary – TEF Kuwait, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted
TEF’s commitment to professional excellence, knowledge sharing, and community engagement.
During the event, Mr. Rajendra Kannan, President – TEF Kuwait, delivered the Presidential Address, formally marking the commencement of TEF’s
technical activities for the year. In his address, he reflected on TEF’s journey since its inception in 1999 and its sustained focus on technical advancement.
The President outlined TEF 2026’s technical vision, emphasizing continuous learning, modernization, safety, and best practices. He also announced the flagship Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE), scheduled for 1 October 2026, which is expected to host over 600 delegates from the Oil, Petrochemical, Power, and Water sectors.
The Inaugural Event featured two technical sessions:
• “From Legacy to Reliable: Enhancing Safety of Old MV Switchgear as
per Latest IEC Norms” by Mr. Avanish Srivastava, Specialist – R&D (MV
Switchgear), Eaton Power Distribution Services.
• “Auditing and Assessment of Infrastructure and Building Utilities”
by Mr. R. Kalaimony, Amith Civil & Allied Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd.
The event was sponsored by Golden Palm Petroleum Services. The Managing Director, Mr. Sabah Al Shammeri, Operations Managers Mr. Krishna Kumar
and Mr. P. P. Muthu, and Mr. Maher Salameh, Country Manager – Eaton Power Distribution Services, graced the occasion with their presence.
The inaugural technical event marked the beginning of TEF’s 27th year, setting a strong benchmark for the technical programs planned for 2026.
TEF expressed its sincere appreciation to its speakers, sponsors, partners, and members for their continued support.
The event concluded with networking and professional interaction among the participants.
