Tamilnadu Engineers Forum conducted 22nd Year Inaugural Function
Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF), Kuwait, the one & only non-profitable association in Kuwait certified to ISO 9001:2015; ISO 26000:2010 for Social Responsibility and ISO 20121:2012 for Sustainable event standards, conducted its 22nd Year Inaugural Function in a Traditional manner on January 22nd, 2021 with a theme as ‘Tamilar Thirunaal’ highlighting the greatness of our ancestors, through series of events conducted through virtual format.
The Program started with Tamil Prayer Song and Eng. Ariharan, Head of Membership Management committee shared a poem from the Tamil Sangam Literature.
General Secretary Eng. Kishorekumar welcomed all the TEFians, Guests and outlined the planned activities of TEF focused on Community Support in the coming days and suggested the TEF members and families to take advantage of such unique programs being offered by TEF.
President Dr. Jeyakumar delivered the presidential address and outlined the importance of preserving the traditional Tamil culture by the global NRIs.
Eng. Kalaiarasan, Head of Entrepreneurship Development Committee introduced the guests Grandmaster Kazhugumanayar C. Chandrasekaran and Master.Sundaracholan who demonstrated the techniques and benefits of Tamilar ’s Traditional Martial Arts.
Eng. Chandrakumar, Head of Health & Wellness Committee introduced the guest Smt.Ponni Selvanathan, coming from the 37th lineal descendant family of Kunjara Mallan Raja Raja Perunthachan who constructed the 1010-year-old famous Brihadeeswara temple in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu and she explained the Traditional Techniques and the principles of the ancient shastras & science in the historical Tamil Architecture.
Eng. Rajesh, Head of Knowledge Repository Committee introduced the guest Poet. Buhari to audience who described the Health Benefits of Tamil Food Heritage.
The people who witnessed the program appreciated the concept of the event, which was highly inspiring, new, informative, and useful to the audience.
The Program was well anchored by Eng. Somaskandan- Head of Establishment Committee and Eng. Suresh Ramanathan, Joint Treasurer and Head of Student Development Committee thanked the guests and audience with a concluding note
