TEF Kuwait Conducted 15th TICE on 10th October 2024 at Al-Baraka Ball Room, Crowne Plaza

Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF) Kuwait, the One & Only ISO 9001:2015 certified non-profitable, Engineers Forum registered with Embassy of India to Kuwait, conducted the “15th Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE)   at Al-Baraka Ball Room, Crowne Plaza. The Conference was conducted under the Patronage of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

TEF has an active membership of more than 550 engineers, who are multi-disciplinary engineers, working   across Kuwait. TEF has been conducting the International Conference & Exhibition annually since its inception in the year 2010 and has grown as the most acclaimed International Conference in Kuwait.

The event day started with the gathering of dignitaries at the Diwaniya of Crowne Plaza, includes the Chief Guest His Excellency Sheikh Malik Al-Jaber Al-Fahad Al-Sabah HEAD OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES, KUWAIT, Keynote Speaker Eng. Fahad Al Daihani CHAIRMAN PIC, Guest of Honor Eng. Harit Shelat, SECOND SECRETARY, EMBASSY OF INDIA to Kuwait and Guest of Honor Mr. Sabah Al-Shammary, DIRECTOR - GOLDEN PALM PETROLEUM SERVICES  and were greeted by the TEF Organizing team.

The exhibition was inaugurated with the Ribbon and Cake cutting by the Chief Guest, followed by a walk-through to the exhibition area, featuring 50+ exhibitors, the biggest technology exhibition ever in Kuwait, displaying multiple technologies products and services.

In the fascinating Al-Baraka ballroom, the conference inauguration started with the National anthem of Kuwait & India. Eng. Kasi Viswanathan shared the safety moment and Eng. Saravanan shared a Kural from the sacred book of Tamils "Thirukkural". Eng. Krishna Jegan, President of TEF-2024 welcomed all the dignitaries and the participants. Conference was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest His Excellency Sheikh Malik Al-Jaber Al-Fahad Al-Sabah - HEAD OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES, KUWAIT,  and the keynote was delivered by Eng. Fahad Al Daihani CHAIRMAN PIC and the Guest of Honor Eng. Harit Shelat, SECOND SECRETARY, Embassy of India To Kuwait and the Guest of Honor Mr. Sabah Al-Shammary, Director - Golden Palm Petroleum Services shared their wishes for the grand success of the Conference.

This conference stood as the flagship event with the participants joining from GCC & various countries across the world as Presenters and Exhibitors.  

The technical presentations consisted of The Plenary session, followed by concurrent sessions in Al-Baraka Ballroom and Auditorium. The Plenary Session was chaired by the most experienced Automation Leader Eng. Bala Elamaran, Vice President – Operations, Alkout Industrial Projects. The concurrent sessions were chaired by Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Huwailah, Team Leader Gas Maintenance (S&EK), Kuwait Oil Company and Eng. Faleh Al-Ajmi, Team Leader Gas Measurement & Quality, Kuwait Oil Company. The last session was chaired by Dr. Suad Al Radhwan (AP, Petroleum Eng. Department, AUK). The event had a great participation of delegates from KPC & subsidiaries, MEW, Petrochemical Sector, Private companies, Trading Companies and students from Universities. Each session concluded with interactive Q&A sessions, followed with felicitation. The technical presentations came to an end at 2.30 PM followed with Quiz competition conducted (using https://www.google.com/url?q=http://">www.Kahoot.com) on the presentations carried out since morning and winners were given prizes.  The conference concluded with a raffle draw and prizes were distributed to the lucky winners and Lunch was served to all the participants.
