SPRING SKILS PROGRAMMES FOR STUDENTS OF GRADES 3 TO 9 (8 TO 14 YEARS)

Dear Parent,

We are happy to inform you that the Tamilnadu Engineers forum in collaboration with SkillSphere Education is organizing an exciting 8 day 'Spring Skills Programmes for students of Grades 3 to 9 (8 to 14 years)'.

The objective of the Spring Skills Fest is to provide students with an opportunity to develop a range of 21st Century Skills, Soft Skills and Global Awareness through fun games, skill set development activities and event simulations.

Students will have the opportunity to hone a range of skills like public speaking, diplomacy, global awareness, design thinking, critical thinking etc. while also learning the art of participation in numerous events including Model UN conferences, debates, and quizzes.

About SkillSphere Education :

SkillSphere Education is a global 21st-century skill development organization based out of Mumbai, India. It conducts a host of educational programs, events, and initiatives for students of Grades 3 to 12 that focus on the development of skills like public speaking, communication, global awareness, critical thinking, design thinking among a range of others. Basic Details About the Spring Programmes

1.Spring Skills Carnival

Grades: 3 to 5 (8- to 10-year-olds)

Date    : 21–30 March 2021 (excluding weekends)
(Students with schools up to 25th March can start on the 28th of March 2021)

Timings: 09 am to 10:30 am – Day 1 and Day 8 | 09 am to 10 am – Day 2 to Day7
(9 hours in all including breaks)

Cost: KD 13 per participating student.

Online Platform: Sessions will be conducted via Zoom

Details:
The objective of the Spring Skills Carnival is to provide primary school students with an opportunity to develop essential 21st-century skills and soft skills like public speaking, general knowledge, critical thinking etc. through exciting games and activities during their Spring break.

Students have the unique opportunity to engage, enjoy and immerse themselves in 21st-century skill development through exciting games and activities. Across the 8-day training programme, young students learn specific skills in each session through participation, experiential learning, and reflection.

2.Spring Skills Fest

Grades: 6 to 9 (11- to 14-year-olds)

Date    : 21–30 March 2021 (excluding weekends)
(Students with schools up to 25th March can start on the 28th of March 2021)

Timings: 09 am to 11:00 am (9 hours in all including breaks)

Cost: KD 20 per participating student

Online Platform: Sessions will be conducted via Zoom

The objective of the Spring Skills Fest is to provide students with an opportunity to develop a range of 21st Century Skills, Soft Skills and Global Awareness through fun games, skill set development activities and event simulations. Some of these include MUN simulations, the eQuiz fest, and competitive debates as well.
Students develop essential 21st-century skills, public speaking and global awareness, critical thinking among a plethora of other skills for students of Grades 6 to 9. The 8-day training programme (2 hours per day) comprises a range of engaging skill set development activities, games and sessions through which students develop a range of skills while also having a lot of fun.

*Free Orientation Sessions for the Students*
To expose students to the programme before registration and help them assess its merit, we have arranged  Free Demo Classes (or Orientations). These orientations host condensed modules of the programme in an activity-based learning environment on a grade-wise basis.Students are  free to decide with respect to their participation after attending the orientation.
